Description

Whitchester Cottages, located in Heddon-on-the-Wall, are former cottages that have been converted into farm storage. They date back to the 18th century and are constructed from coursed stone with a boulder plinth. The roof is covered with pantiles.

The buildings are two low storeys high. Each cottage features a boarded door and casement windows that have old wood lintels. On the first floor, there are two small windows, one of which is a Yorkshire sash. The cottages have a steeply-pitched gabled roof with reverse-stepped coping.
