Description

This gateway, located approximately 440 yards east of Benridge Hall, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features gatepiers, a gate, and screen walls made of ashlar stone. The gatepiers are round with cornices, fluted necking, and domed caps. They are flanked by quadrant walls that end in lower piers, also topped with domed caps. The gateway includes a six-barred gate adorned with scrolled decoration above the top rail.
