Description

The Farmhouse is an early 18th-century brick house located in Ponteland, East Coldcotes. It is constructed using a brick pattern known as English Garden Wall Bond, and has a roof of Welsh slate. The house follows a "T" shape and is two stories high, with three bays across the front. A 20th-century door is present. The windows are 12-pane sash windows set in plain reveals with flat arches. A brick string course runs along the front of the building. The steeply-pitched gabled roof is finished with end stacks.
