Description

The gatepiers to the south of Field House are mid-18th century structures made of ashlar stone. They feature quoined piers with Ionic pilasters, each topped with a modillion cornice, a plinth, and a ribbed urn that is supported by four iron brackets. The gateway itself has been infilled with later walling and a gate, which are not considered of special interest.
