Description
This is a cottage and mill building from the 18th century, constructed of random rubble with Welsh slate and stone slate roofs, featuring an old brick chimney. The structure is L-shaped, with the cottage on the right and outbuildings on the left that project to the rear. The cottage has a lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys tall, with two broad bays and a central boarded door. It features Yorkshire sash windows, which are smaller on the first floor. The steeply-pitched Welsh slate roof has reverse-stepped gables and a tall central ridge stack, with an outshut at the rear.
The attached buildings have boarded doors and half-slatted windows set in slightly-chamfered alternating-block surrounds, topped with a gabled stone slate roof.
