Description

The Old Joiner's Shop is a former joiner's workshop, now used for storage, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble with ashlar dressings and features a graduated Lakeland slate roof. The building is one and a half storeys high and consists of three bays. The ground floor has large 56-pane sash windows set in raised surrounds, while the first floor has small square blocked windows in similar surrounds. The gabled roof has flat coping and small stacks at each end. On the right side, there are boarded double doors framed by a chamfered alternating-block surround.
