Description

This is a range of farm buildings located 20 metres north of Anick Farmhouse. The west range dates from the 18th century and served as a stable, while the north range is an early 19th-century shelter shed with a granary above. The west range is constructed from rubble with roughly-cut quoins and dressings, and the north range features coursed rubble with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, both topped with stone slate roofs. The buildings are arranged in an L shape.

The south elevation is divided into two parts. On the left, the projecting gabled end of the stable has a part-slatted loft window in a chamfered surround, moulded kneelers, and reverse-stepped coping. There are boarded doors on the outer return and the inner return, along with a part-slatted window, all in chamfered surrounds. The shelter shed and granary on the right consist of three narrow bays with segmental-headed arches and part-slatted windows in stone surrounds above. The gables are coped, and the returns each feature upper doorways in alternating-block surrounds.
