SANDHOE ANICK NY 96 NE 5/286 Range of farmbuildings 20 metres north of Anick Farmhouse

Farmbuildings; west range is C18 stable, north range is early C19 shelter shed with granary over. West range rubble with roughly-cut quoins and dressings, north range coursed rubble with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings; stone slate roofs. L plan. South elevation in 2 parts; projecting gabled end of stable on left has part-slatted loft window in chamfered surround, moulded kneelers and reverse-stepped coping; boarded door on outer return, boarded door and part-slatted window in chamfered surrounds on inner return. Shelter shed/ granary on right, 3 narrow bays; segmental-headed arches; part-slatted windows in stone surrounds above. Coped gables. Returns each show upper doorways in alternating-block surrounds.
