Milepost, probably early C20 by Smith Patterson Ltd. of Blaydon. Cast iron, painted white with black figures. Shield-shaped plaque with legend CORNHILL 22 MORPETH 22 set on circular shaft. Partly buried in bankside; height 0.60 metre.
