MITFORD B 6524 NZ 18 SE (North side) 4/12 West Edington Farmhouse GV II

House, second quarter of C19, refenestrated in earlier C20. Squared tooled stone with cut quoins and dressings; Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Plinth, bold hollow-chamfered eaves cornice continued over gables. Central 6-panel door with patterned overlight; 20-pane metal-framed casements. All openings in stone surrounds. Low-pitched roof with coped gables and stepped- and-corniced end stacks. Returns show similar casements. Rear elevation shows central 12-pane sash stair window with 2 similar windows to left and 2-storey outshut to right.
