Description
Tithe Barns is a house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from squared stone with tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The main section is two storeys high and has two bays. There is a vertical-panelled door set beneath a four-centred arch, with a two-light mullioned window featuring 8-pane casements to the left, and 4-pane casements above. All openings are framed in chamfered alternating-block surrounds, and there is a chamfered eaves cornice. The gables have pitched coping on moulded kneelers, and there is a stepped left end stack with a chamfered cap, as well as a stepped-and-banded right end stack. To the right, there is a single-storey, two-bay section that has paired 9-pane casements in alternating-block surrounds. A 20th-century rear wing is not of interest.
