Description

This building is a former cottage that has been converted into a byre, located 15 metres west of Bank Foot Farmhouse. It dates from the early 18th century, with some alterations made around 1920. The structure is built of squared stone with cut dressings and features a Welsh slate roof.

The east elevation is two storeys high and has three bays, with several small windows set in stone surrounds and two part-slatted loft windows. The returns of the building display reverse-stepped gable coping. The rear elevation includes two boarded doors in chamfered surrounds, which were moved from the east wall around 1920, as well as boarded pitching doors and part-slatted windows. Inside, a cross wall shows evidence of back-to-back firehoods.
