Description
These farm buildings, located 20 yards south-east of Townfoot Farmhouse, date from the 18th century. They are constructed from dressed stone and coursed rubble, featuring roofs made of Welsh slate and stone slabs.
On the right side, there is a two-storey byre with a granary above. The front has three segmental arches and two small half-slatted windows situated above. An external stone stair is located on the right return, and the building is topped with a gabled Welsh slate roof that has flat coping.
To the left, there is a single-storey byre that has a central door and one half-slatted window to the right. This section has a gabled stone slate roof with kneelers.
