Description

This is a house, originally part of a larger dwelling, dating to the 18th century and significantly altered in the early 19th century. A 20th-century extension exists to the rear. The front facade is of dressed stone, while the rest of the building is of random rubble construction. It has a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has two bays, with a plank door in the right bay. All openings have flat, raised surrounds. Late 19th-century sash windows are present. The gabled roof is covered in large, irregular Welsh slates, and it features two stone gable stacks; the right-hand stack serves both this property and the adjacent No. 5 Low Park. Inside, there are original old beams and six-panelled doors. Principal-rafter trusses with collars are also original. The property is included on the list primarily for its group value alongside No. 5 Low Park.
