Description
These farm buildings, located approximately 15 yards west of Langleeford Farmhouse, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from random rubble with tooled-and-margined dressings and are painted. The roof is made of Welsh slate, and the buildings are arranged in an L-shape.
On the left side, there are double doors leading into a cart shed. Adjacent to this is a stable featuring a central boarded door set in an alternating-block surround. To the right of the stable, there is a fixed 9-pane window and a half-slatted window, both in similar surrounds. The byre, located to the right of the stable, has a granary above it, a boarded door, and ventilation slits.
At the rear, there is a projecting range that includes another byre with a stable-type door and a cart shed with a segmental arch. The roofs of the buildings are gabled.
