Description

This is a sheepfold located half a mile north of Hartside, dating from the 18th or 19th century. It is constructed of dry stone and is circular, measuring approximately 40 feet in diameter. The walls are intact, standing about 5 feet high and measuring around 40 inches thick at the base, tapering to about 20 inches at the top. There is an entrance on the southwest side that is 3 feet wide.
