Description

This mid 19th-century limekiln is located 120 metres west of Ouston House in Plenmeller with Whitfield. It is constructed from coursed rubble and yellow brick, built into the hillside in front of a limestone quarry. The structure features twin segmental drawing arches, each with two openings that have recessed semicircular arches divided by a pilaster. Additionally, there is an oval pot.
