Description
The Manor House is a house dated 1825, featuring the initials WPL on the lintel. It is constructed of squared stone with tooled and margined dressings and has a green slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three symmetrical bays, with a plinth at the base. There are two semicircular steps leading up to flush-panelled double doors that are topped by a 5-pane overlight. The windows are 16-pane sash windows, and all openings have alternating jambs with slightly projecting window sills. There are stone end stacks on either side.
To the right, there is a set-back lean-to that has two small windows and a stone slate roof. The right return of the house features two small 4-pane attic sashes with iron bars. The rear elevation includes a 16-pane sash stair window with intersecting glazing bars set under a round-headed arch, flanked at the first floor level by additional 16-pane sashes. The ground floor windows have been renewed in their original openings.
