Description

This is a milepost from the early 19th century, made of cast iron. It features an oval top with two oval facets on a short fluted post. One side is inscribed with "CORN" (for Cornhill), while the other side reads "HER" (for Berwick) and indicates a distance of 10 3/4 miles.
