Description

Nos 8, 8A, and 9 on Post House Wynd are early 19th-century buildings featuring two storeys and three windows. They are constructed of pinkish brick. The first floor has sash windows with glazing bars, each with eight panes, set in flush wood architraves and topped with flat gauged brick arches. Above each window is a sunk brick panel. The central entrance has a six-panel door with an oblong fanlight and margin lights, all under a flat gauged brick arch. Modern shops are located on either side of the buildings. The roof is low pitched, having been raised in the early 19th century from an earlier structure.
