Description

Nos 8 and 8A on St Mary Street are late 18th century buildings, with the core likely dating from the 17th century and featuring later alterations. They are constructed of red brick and consist of two storeys plus an attic. The façade includes two sash windows that have plain keyblocks and flat brick arches. On the left-hand side, there is a blocked semi-circular headed window above an arched doorway. The buildings have corbelled eaves and two 19th century gabled dormers, with a tiled roof. A projecting late 19th century bay shop front is present, which has modern glazing.
