Description
The garden wall to the east of High Carlbury Farmhouse dates from the early 19th century. The outer face is made of coursed rubble that has been painted white, while the inner face consists of large red bricks arranged in English garden wall bond (3 and 1). The tall, flat-coped wall is located at the right end of the house and extends eastward for 30 metres. There is a short return section with a quadrant ramp leading down. A shed located at the rear of the wall is not considered of special interest. This wall is included in the listing for its group value with the farmhouse.
