Description
The garden wall surrounding New Barns Farmhouse dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from roughly-coursed rubble with cut dressings and stands about 1 metre high. The wall features pitched coping and connects to the north-west corner of the farmhouse, enclosing the garden on the west, south, and east sides. There is a gateway on the west side, and the coping slopes down near the west end of the south wall. This structure is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
