Description

The garden wall east at Mill Court is a Grade II listed structure primarily dating from the early 19th century. It encloses the garden area on three sides and is constructed of brickwork, mainly in English bond. On the north side, the wall extends eastward from the house and rises to form the south wall of a service building, which appears as two storeys with pilasters separating four bays. The wall continues on the east side of the garden area, providing support to the higher-level roadway that fronts the stable and coachhouse. On the south side, the wall is of lesser height and runs parallel to the barn. This structure is included for its group value.
