Description

Gothic Cottage is a house built around 1860, featuring chalkstone walls and a steep roof covered with interlocking tiles. Designed in a Tudor style, it has a nearly symmetrical front facing south, with two storeys and two windows, topped by unequal gables above the windows. There are stacks at each end of the building, each with coupled diagonal flues and decorative bases. The cottage has ashlar walls, chamfered openings, and a plinth. The windows are casements with diagonal leaded lights. The solid porch has a gable, a chamfered opening, and a boarded door.
