Description

Home Farm Cottages, built around 1840, is a pair of cottages featuring stone, flint, and brick walls, topped with a combination of slate and tile roofs. The symmetrical west elevation has two storeys and four windows, with one-window outshots at each end. The main block has a hipped slate roof, while the outshots have tiled roofs. The walls are made of coursed ashlar chalkstone, accented with a brick dentil eaves band, quoins, cambered openings, and a plinth bond. The windows are casements, and the entrances are located in the outshots. The east elevation is more decorative, showcasing horizontal bands of brickwork and flint.
