Description

The garden wall located to the west of East Ditchburn Farmhouse is likely from the late 18th century. It features an inner face made of brick arranged in English Garden Wall Bond, with a ratio of 1 to 4, and an outer face of squared stone. The tall wall has a flat coping and extends west from the farmhouse before turning south. There are boarded doors in each section, with the northern door set in a chamfered tooled-and-margined surround. This structure is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
