Description
Brockley Hall Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century rear wing. The front is made of coursed stone, featuring tooled quoins and dressings, while the returns and rear are constructed of large rubble. It has a Welsh slate roof and stands two storeys high with three symmetrical bays. The central entrance consists of a vertical-panelled door set within a 20th-century half-glazed porch. The windows have been renewed and include 12-pane sash windows. The gables are coped, and the end stacks are stepped and corniced, each with paired shafts. On the left side, there is an arched panel containing three tiers of pigeon holes, which has been re-set at the base of the wall. The rear wing features a renewed 16-pane sash window in a former doorway, flanked by 12-pane sashes. An extension to the east of the rear wing is not of special interest.
