Description

Nos 2, 4, and 6 Northumberland Street is a late 18th-century, three-storey building with six windows. It is constructed of pinkish brick and features low-pitched slated roofs. The original recessed sash windows have gauged flat brick arches, although the window bars have been lost. On the ground floor, there is an iron gate set under a rebuilt arch, followed by double garage doors, and a long shop front typical of the early to mid-19th century. This shop front includes three windows and two doors, with an entablature supported by engaged fluted columns, which were likely assembled and inserted later.
