Description
26 Coniscliffe Road is a mid to late 18th century house that stands two storeys tall with a basement and features five windows. The building is constructed of pinkish brick and has a stone plinth along with stone cill bands on both floors. It has a fairly high pitched pantiled roof with chimneys at both ends. The windows have gauged flat brick arches and are replaced recessed sash windows. The entrance is accessed by two stone steps leading to a six-panel door, which is topped by a plain fanlight and set within an open pedimented doorcase that includes fluted pilasters and urns in the friezes. The property retains its original wrought iron area railings.
