Milestone. Late C18 for West Auckland - Corbridge turnpike. Painted ashlar. Quadrant-section block about 1/2 metre high, painted white. North face has incised WA 15 and south face C 15 in Roman capitals, painted black. Stone painted white. O.S. bench mark on north face.
