Description
The bridge over Waskerley Walk, built around 1867 for the North Eastern Railway Company, carries a track from Healeyfield farm over the railway. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with rock-faced ashlar dressings. The bridge features an elliptical arch with long voussoirs that extend down to a road-bed-level band and to battered abutments that project slightly. This band continues around the end pilasters, which are also topped with rock-faced flat coping.
