This milestone, located approximately 100 metres south of Drover House, dates from the late 18th century and was originally part of the West Auckland and Corbridge turnpike. It is made of painted ashlar and has a quadrant-section block shape, standing about half a metre high with a flat top. The north face features the incised letters "WA13" while the south face displays "C17" in Roman capitals, both painted black. The stone itself is painted white.
