Description
The former vicarage, now a private house, is dated 1834 above the door. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings, a plinth, and quoins. The roof is made of Welsh slate with stone gable coping and ashlar chimneys. The building has an irregular plan and consists of two storeys with four bays, the left bay being under a front gable. There is a late 19th-century one-storey, one-bay addition in front of the second bay.
A small shaped gable is located over the third bay, which features a partly-glazed door set in a three-centred-arched chamfered surround within a corniced panel. The date is displayed in Gothic numerals in a recessed panel above the door. The stone-mullioned windows are predominantly three-light, except for the two-light window above the door. The slightly projecting first bay has a narrow glazed door with sidelights in a similar style, a three-light window above, and a single light in the gable peak. All windows have recessed chamfers. The roof includes moulded kneelers that support the gable copings, along with corniced ridge and end chimneys that have plinths and strings. The second-bay addition features paired sashes with vertical glazing bars beneath a hipped roof.
The left return of the building has a canted bay on the left and paired sashes on the first floor.
