Description
The Roman altar located in the garden of Broomshields Hall is believed to have been brought from Iveston by the Greenwell family. This stone slab stands about one metre high and features scroll decoration that is incised in the style of an Ionic capital, along with a plinth. The rear of the altar is roughly dressed, and the top has eroded over time.
