House, now shop and flat. Early C18 with early C20 shop. Painted incised stucco with painted ashlar dressings; roof of asbestos slates in imitation of Welsh slate, with stone gable copings and brick chimneys. 2 storeys; 3-window range, with rear 2-storey offshoot under pent roof. Front wall has pronounced batter. Painted tooled stone surround to recessed renewed door to left of centre and plain overlight. Shop at left has high rendered stall-riser, 2-pane front window and 3-pane transom lights; smaller windows in same style continue round left return, as does plain canted fascia board. Plain reveals to all windows. To right of door, paired plain square lights; on first floor 3 plain sashes, with small blocked attic light above third; C20 flat-headed 2-light dormer to left of centre. Steeply pitched roof has end chimneys in old brick; stone gable coping at left rear, and at right at foot of chimney; left front moulded kneeler. Urn-shaped rainwater head below eaves at right. Left return has shop window on ground floor, single sash above, and 2 small attic lights with plain glazing. INTERIOR: not inspected. Included for group value.
