Description
This is a late 18th-century house on Front Street, West Auckland. The exterior is painted rough render with painted ashlar dressings, and it has a Welsh slate roof with a brick chimney. The house is three storeys high, featuring two windows on each principal floor. A 20th-century door is located on the left side, with a small overlight and flat stone lintel. A large window is positioned to the left, with a painted stone sill and lintel. The first floor has two windows, the one on the right being slightly smaller, and both have painted stone sills. A single window is present on the second floor. The roof is low-pitched with a renewed chimney on the left side, and a raised gable and chimney on the right. The building is included in the list for its group value.
