Description
Sangreal House is a house built in the late 18th century. It features rough render with painted ashlar dressings and a plinth, topped by a Welsh slate roof with brick chimneys. The building has three storeys and an attic, with one window. A four-panelled door is located to the right, set beneath a fanlight that has petal-shaped glazing bars, all within an open-pedimented doorcase. To the left, there is a two-storey canted bay that has top panels and a hipped roof; the top sash window, which has a cambered head, includes a projecting stone sill. A gutter cornice supported by small modillions runs along the top. There is an end chimney, and a gabled dormer on the right has slate-hung cheeks and a boarded peak. Additionally, a square gas lamp with acroteria on the corners and a high-domed finial is mounted on a wrought iron bracket to the left of the door.
