Description
House at 33A Galgate, built in the mid-18th century, features coursed squared stone with ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is made of graduated stone slates, complete with stone gable copings and stone chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range. There is a plain stone surround to a boarded passage door located to the right of the centre. The windows have similar stone surrounds, with the ones on the left set in a full-height canted bay, featuring stone mullions. The roof displays gable copings on cyma moulded kneelers, along with plinths and cornices on the end chimneys. The interior has not been inspected.
