Description

This water pump, located 3 metres in front of Number 2, dates from around 1830. It is made of stone and features an iron handle and spout, with an octagonal plan. The pump has a low cyma-moulded base and a 2.0-metre high shaft that has roll-moulded edges and sunken panels. At the top, it is surmounted by a ribbed ogival cap with a broken finial. The handle is S-curved, and the spout is designed in the form of a scaly dragon with an open mouth.
