Description

This water pump, located 10 meters west of the Old School, was built in 1856. It is made of cast and wrought iron and features an obelisk shape with coved moulded panels on each side and a square base. To the west, there is a spout designed in the form of a dragon. Above the spout, there is a panel displaying a shield, and above that, another panel with a crest shaped like a bird, which is inscribed with 'WAP 1856'. On the south side, the pump has a curved handle with a loop end.
