Description
The Groom's Quarters and Service Wing at Edmondthorpe Hall, built in 1869 and designed by R. W. Johnson, is constructed from coursed and squared ironstone with limestone ashlar dressings and features slate roofs. The building has coped gables and dormers, with kneelers and finials, and two coped stone lateral stacks. The south front consists of three bays; on the left, there is a two-light casement window flanked by a half-glazed door. To the right, a four-light casement window is flanked by a door and a staircase opening. Above this, there are three cross eaves dormers, each with a two-light casement. The single-storey service wing to the right has two doorways, with the larger one on the right. Above the service wing, there are two roof ventilators, and the east gable features a small window above. On the north side, there is a barred casement window to the left.
