Description

Beer Beck Low Bridge is a wide road bridge built in the mid-18th century, with some later rebuilding. It is constructed of squared rubble and features similar designs on both faces. The bridge has a small segmental arch with flush voussoirs and a projecting keystone. The parapets are battered and have chamfered coping stones. The east parapet measures 15.0 metres long and has splayed ends, while the west parapet is 11.0 metres long with a splayed north end. There is a later wall attached to the south end of the west parapet, which is not considered of special interest.
