Description
The garden wall and piers located south-west of Snow's Green House date from the mid-18th century. This structure features coursed squared sandstone with a brick inner layer. The wall is raised and has a ramped section at the north end, which includes a boarded garden door set beneath a flat stone lintel. At the south end of this section, there are two widely spaced brick piers that likely marked the end of the terrace. These piers are square with recessed corners, topped with stone cornices and swept stone coping, although the finials are missing. Below these piers, a coursed squared sandstone retaining wall rises from the lower road level. Continuing south from this point, there is a buttressed brick wall that has flat stone coping.
