Description
Number 28 and the attached wall is a house built around 1840. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, forming an L-shape. The central entrance features a many-panelled door with an overlight, all set in a plain stone surround topped with a stone-bracketed hood. The windows are margined sashes within chamfered stone surrounds, each topped with label moulds. The roof is low-pitched and has a corniced ashlar, with chimneys that have strings and plinths. Bargeboards adorn the gable ends. On the left side, there is a two-storey, one-bay rear wing that has a small window at the eaves. A high stone wall with flat stone coping, set back to the right, contains a filleted boarded door beneath a flat stone lintel.
