Description

There are two pairs of gate piers at the entrance to Shotley Villa East and Shotley Villa West, dating from around 1855. These piers are made of sandstone and are octagonal in shape, featuring roll-moulded plinths and capitals. They have swept copings that support octagonal bud finials.
