Description
The Former Shotley Spa Bath House is a building dating from around 1838, originally constructed for Jonathan Richardson. It is made of coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The structure is a single storey with three bays. It has three two-light stone-mullioned windows set in plain stone surrounds, each topped with label moulds. The building includes corner pilasters and has a low-pitched hipped roof with wide eaves. At the rear, there is a square stone chimney. On the left side, there is a half-glazed double door in a stone surround, also with a label mould.
