Description
The outbuildings to the north-west of Eggleshope House date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed squared rubble sandstone with ashlar dressings and feature a roof made of graduated stone flags, complete with stone ridge and gable copings. The building is single-storey and consists of five bays.
The two left bays have flat stone lintels above boarded doors, with a partly-glazed window and a ventilator situated between them. The third and fourth bays contain full-height boarded vehicle doors, while the fifth bay features a keyed segmental arch with voussoirs over another set of boarded vehicle doors. There is a small cast-iron grill ventilator to the right of the second bay, and a square window with a flat stone lintel and a projecting stone sill is located to the left of the fifth bay. Additionally, there is a square ridge chimney positioned to the left of the fifth bay.
