Description
The outbuilding at Esholt Hall, located on the north side of Stable Court, is a mid-18th century fodder barn that likely also served as a cart shed. It is constructed from sandstone "brick" and features a stone slate roof. The gables are adorned with saddlestones and a finial at the east end. The upper storey is illuminated by four bullseye windows with keystones, which alternate with four pairs of round-headed loopholes and one central loophole. There are four plain squared jamb doorways and a central tall segmental archway with voussoirs. The gable ends include round-headed windows with imposts and keystones.
