Description

This building, known as Next, is a three-storey structure with an attic, built from red brick and featuring painted bathstone dressings. It has a turret at the right (north) corner, although the dome has been lost. The front facing Commercial Street consists of three bays; the first and second floors each have attic dormers, though the pediments are missing, and there are paired windows. The second floor showcases large round windows with relief decoration in the spandrels and balustrades above the first-floor oriel window. The third bays contain mullion and transom windows. Above the modern shopfront, there is stone banding and a balustrade. The elevation facing the lane to the right is very simple.
