Description
The monument to Sir Briggs is a mid-19th century stone obelisk with a plinth, situated on a square granite base. The front face features a carved scene depicting a horse and soldier. An inscription below honors the life of the horse "Sir Briggs," who carried his master through various battles in Europe, including the Charge of the Light Brigade in 1854.
